  • Vote Early and Smart - Only you can make voting matter

As many of you know, you do not have to vote only on the 17th. You can vote now until 5pm, tomorrow and Thursday.

Also, please know what you’re getting into.

There are some thoughts presented that if you vote against the new facilities you do not support the police and fire departments. That is patently not true.

Many people balance their support of our emergency services with the understanding that we have never had a letdown due to the current facilities. Our needs in fact are relatively stable in this small town. Our economics are not.

And, many people say that the $14.1 million will grow far beyond that.

Others have told me they’d prefer seeing more monies to help with housing and keep rents at a level that’s feasible for tenants under this difficult economy.

Only you can make voting matter.
