Final Windham County Democrats Forum in Brattleboro

Following successful forums in Townshend and Bellows Falls, the Windham County Democratic Committee will host its final candidate forum in Brattleboro.

Guilford, VT, August 15, 2014 – The final State Senate candidate forum hosted by the Windham County Democratic Committee will be at the American Legion Hall in Brattleboro, beginning promptly at 6:30pm. Regarding the forums, organizer Betty Frye said:

“I am so pleased that voters have had the opportunity to hear from our extraordinary candidates. If you were unable to attend the forums in Townshend or Bellows Falls, you cannot miss this opportunity in Brattleboro to have an exchange of ideas about what will keep Vermont the best place to live and work. I look forward to continuing the conversation about what we as voters are looking for in our next State Senator here in Windham County.”

The forum, which will also be televised courtesy of Brattleboro Community Television, will take place on Thursday, August 21st, from 6:30pm – 8:00pm, at the American Legion Post 5 Hall in Brattleboro. The forum will be moderated by Windham County Democratic Committee Treasurer and Brattleboro Democratic Committee Chair James Valente, partner at the Brattleboro law firm Costello, Valente & Gentry, P.C. Light refreshments will be served.

The four candidates running in the Democratic Primary for State Senate in Windham County are Roger Allbee of Townshend, Becca Balint of Brattleboro, Joan Bowman of Putney, and incumbent Jeanette White of Putney.
