      The only time I ever saw George Pataki, he was sitting on a beach, in August, in a suit, with bodyguards behind him. Nuff said.

          I’ve always thought it was a terribly exaggerated feeling of self-importance. The thought that Pataki was so important as to need bodyguards anywhere was pretty ludicrous. I say Go Republican Party, keep those candidates coming with their stellar backgrounds and elevated egos.

        NY vs VT

        I was attending a convention of Municipal Electric Utilities held in Lake Placid, NY.
        Keynote speakers were NY’s Gov. Nelson Rockefeller and VT’s Gov. Phil Hoff.
        “Nellie the Rock” was first to arrive in an entourage of about 8 limos, preceded and followed by six packs of state troopers on motorcycles.
        About a half hour later Hoff arrived in a VT state police cruiser. He was alone and sitting in the front seat!

    He's out

    The time is not right to protect our freedoms and take back the government, it seems.

    “I’m confident we can elect the right person, someone who will bring us together and who understands that politicians, including the president, must be the people’s servant and not their master.”
