To accommodate an event at the new Amtrak train station downtown, the Town will temporarily close Bridge Street and Depot Street tomorrow. The closures will begin at 10:30 a.m., and both streets are expected to reopen by 2:00 p.m. Volunteers will be stationed at the closures and will allow local traffic through for those traveling to or from properties located on Bridge Street or Depot Street.
The Hinsdale, NH bridge on Route 119 is currently closed due to an emergency incident. The traffic lights on lower Main Street are on flash and access to NH Route 119 is closed at the Bridge and Main Street intersection. Motorists should seek alternate routes.
On Thursday, October 20, the Town of Brattleboro and Green Mountain Power will be working on Vernon Street near the intersection of Vernon Street and Bridge Street. The work will take place between 9:00am and 11:00am. During this work, Vernon Street will be closed from Main Street to Royal Road. Motorists should seek alternate routes.
Green Mountain Power will be working on Vernon Street around the intersection of Vernon Street and Bridge Street on Monday, July 25, 2022 from 5:00am to 3:00pm. During that time Vernon Street will be closed from Main Street to Royal Road. During the remainder of the week there may be alternate traffic.

Due to a water main break near the Brattleboro Museum and Arts Center, Vernon Street will be closed
until further notice. Water will be out for Bridge Street customers until further notice. Town staff is aware
of the situation and they are working to safely resolve it.
