Brattleboro Selectboard Agenda and Notes June 2, 2026

The Brattleboro Selectboard will hold a regular meeting on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 6:15pm in the Selectboard Meeting Room at the Brattleboro Municipal Center (230 Main Street, Room 212) and over Zoom.  Prior to the regular meeting at 5:30pm, the Board will convene and is expected to move directly into executive session to discuss labor relations agreements with employees and contracts. The attached agenda contains information on how to access the meeting remotely, including the required “passcode.”  Closed captioning will be available for deaf and hard-of-hearing community members. The backup materials for this meeting will be available on the town website by the end of the day.


Brattleboro Tree Advisory Committee Meeting – Shade Tree Ordinance

The regular meeting will be preceded, in the same room, by a public hearing of the tree removals at Pliny Park at 3:30 followed by the first public input, if any, concerning the Shade Tree Ordinance at 4:15. All board members are encouraged to attend these
hearings. The regular Board meeting will immediately follow the completion of public input on the Shade Tree Ordinance.

On March 15th, youth across the world, youth will be gathering to focus the attention of local, state and national legislators on protecting our resources and environment. 

Join young people of southern Vermont to demand that our lawmakers work to steer us from climate disaster, and protect our frontline communities who are already suffering the consequences of it. Gather peacefully to share ideas and ensure that future generations can live to experience a healthy natural world. Bring signs, songs, and knowledge. Bring your stories and passions. Bring respectful arguments, and a willingness to listen.
