October 26, 2020 – WSESD Social Justice Committee meeting

Called to order: 4:35pm
Committee discussed progress of diversifying staff.
Andy clarified what would be needed to offer financial incentives to possible hires in order to increase diversity. This would involve renegotiating union contract. Waiting until next negotiations may be more reasonable.
Next monthly meeting: Tuesday 12/8 @ 4:00PM
