Brattleboro and VT COVID-19 Regional Dashboard Summary – January 2025

Welcome to the January 2025 dashboard summary. We continue semi-regular COVID-19 dashboard numbers from the Vermont Department of Health, and MA and NH counties that surround Brattleboro, as long as they continue providing them. Numbers are quite low, but not zero. Scroll down the new comments for the latest.

VT, NH and MA do weekly updates, near the end of the week, so we update on Fridays usually. Variant updates are every two weeks.

    VT ( Wednesday updates)

    Note (12/18/2024): Because of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, the COVID-19 Surveillance Report will be next updated on December 30, and return to its weekly cadence on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

    Report Timeframe: December 8 to December 14, 2024

    KP.3, XEC and MC variants are the dominant circulating variants. Some limited specimen quantities
    may impact proportion accuracy, specifically the weeks of 11/10-11-23/2024. For more timely
    data, see the National SARS-CoV-2 Genomic Surveillance System which includes data from Vermont

    Concentrations remain low at most sites: Burlington, St. Albans, South Burlington, Middlebury, Ludlow, Essex Junction, and Montpelier. Some week-to-week fluctuation is expected.

    Concentrations have increased at most sites: Montpelier, Burlington, St. Albans, Ludlow, South
    Burlington, and Essex Junction. Concentrations remain low in Middlebury. Some week-to-week
    fluctuation is expected.

    Concentrations have increased sharply at Montpelier, Burlington, Ludlow, and South Burlington.
    Concentrations have increased modestly at Essex Junction and Middlebury and remain low in St.
    Albans. Some week-to-week fluctuation is expected.
