At tonight’s Brattleboro Town School Board meeting there may be a vote taken on whether that board will support the Alternative Governance Structure proposal to the State Agency & Board of Education. (See a letter to the editor in today’s Reformer.) For those of us living in other towns, it feels just a tad inappropriate — tho it is perfecty permissible — to attend other towns’ meetings. But it would be great if the result of this vote could be shared on ibrattleboro. Thanks to whomever could attend the meeting and let us know.

The Brattleboro Selectboard had numbers on the agenda for their final meeting of 2017. Budget numbers, audit numbers, financial reports, grants, and even dates on the calendar. They talked about numbers, reviewed numbers, noted errors and omissions, and made calculations.
Green Mountain Home Repair, a program of the Windham & Windsor Housing Trust, is pleased to announce a pellet stove replacement program for Windham County residents. Eligible homeowners will get a price reduction of $2,000 to $4,000 on the cost of purchasing and installing an approved pellet stove to replace an old wood stove, or kerosene or propane heater.
In observance of the Christmas holiday:

The Brattleboro Selectboard will meet tomorrow (12/19 at 6:15pm) as previously warned. Town Manager Peter Elwell was asked to provide the Selectboard with a summary of Unfinished Business in connection with the FY19 Budget discussions. Attached is a copy of his memorandum (which has also been posted to the Town’s website under Selectboard Supporting Documents, New Business Part 2).
