Brattleboro Representative Town Meeting Human Services Review Committee Second Revised Warning
The Brattleboro Representative Town Meeting Human Services Review Committee CHANGED THE START TIME of its meeting on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm AND THE LOCATION OF THE MEETING. The Committee will meet at the Winston Prouty Campus (formerly Austine School), 209 Austine Drive, Holton Hall, 2nd Floor, on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 7:00pm. It is anticipated that the committee will enter into executive session at 7:05pm to discuss agencies’ financial records exempt from the access to public records. (See REVISED2 agenda)

Sandglass Theater’s Crankie Celebration
PUTNEY- A crankie is an old storytelling art form that has recently become popular again. A long illustrated scroll is wound around two spools and set into a box with a viewing window. The scroll is hand cranked, the unfolding story narrated, sung or just accompanied by music. This December Sandglass Theater is holding a crankie fundraising celebration with events including performances, a crankie building workshop and an online auction of crankies built by local artists.

47th Community Messiah Sing: A Benefit for the Homeless
Brattleboro, Vt. – Friends of Music at Guilford (FOMAG) invites singers and music lovers in the Tri-State region to start their holiday season at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, with the 47th annual Community Messiah Sing, a benefit for the homeless. Centre Congregational Church, at 193 Main Street in Brattleboro, has been home for the Sing since 1982 and for a few prior seasons as well.

Brattleboro Area Hospice To Host Second Annual Holiday Benefit Shopping Extravaganza in Downtown Brattleboro
On Friday, December 1st from 5:30 – 8:30 PM and then again on Saturday December 2nd from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Brattleboro Area Hospice will host a Holiday shopping extravaganza in the Brooks House Atrium on the corner of High and Main Streets in downtown Brattleboro, Vermont.

Brattleboro Selectboard and Committee Meeting Agendas
The Brattleboro Selectboard will hold a special meeting on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 9:00am in the Selectboard Meeting Room at the Municipal Center. Please note that the Board will discuss a portion of the FY19 Proposed Budget which is a separate document and can be found on the homepage of the Town’s website under “News” and on the Selectboard page under “Draft Minutes and Supporting Documents.” ASL interpreters will be available for deaf and hard-of-hearing community members.
