Current case counts includes reports of people tested with a molecular test (confirmed cases) and those tested by a health care provider using an antigen test (probable cases). Individuals testing themselves using at-home antigen tests are not included. Case counts represent only a portion of people with COVID-19 and should be interpreted with caution. Current case counts should not be compared to earlier parts of the pandemic.”

The national numbers haven’t been updated in over a month. New CDC data seems to have stopped, or is so out of date to be almost useless. Compare this with a year or two ago and the enormous amount of details we used to get about each variant.

Anyone want to place bets on when state and federal COVID reporting ends entirely? I started reporting these numbers in April 2020. Now it is about half a decade of data.
